MUMBAI: Of late the trend of film celebrities’ bee-lining for TV shows has caught up in a big way. The trend is mostly rampant in talent hunt shows where celebrity judges are seen sharing their expertise with contestants.
Now, the upcoming episode of Sony’s Indian Idol will have Shabana Azmi as the next celebrity judge. The episode will be aired on 13 July at 9 pm.
The show has Javed Akhtar, Alisha Chinai, Udit Narayan and Anu Malik among its panel of judges. Indian Idol is currently airing the gala round of the top 11 singers in the show.
