Shahid Kapur renews contract with Clinic All Clear

MUMBAI: Shahid Kapur is taking stock of his life. On a much deserved break, the actor has decided to personally look into all his commercial contracts with brands. And one of the first things he has done is to renew his contract with Clinic All Clear.

Kapur has always maintained, "I will only endorse those products that I believe in. It is not easy to live by these principles, but that’s the way I am." A perfectionist by nature, Kapur was slow on the brand signing front. But after a lot of thought, the Kaminey actor is now signing on those products that he can lend his name too.

The first thing that he did was renew his contract with Clinic All Clear after four years. The actor will be shooting for the television commercial in Mumbai this week.

In Kapur’s kitty are brands like Vaseline, VIP suitcases and Pioneer music systems. But now with Kapur more stable in the film industry and his reputation as a good actor growing amongst the film fraternity, the actor is now choosing his brands more carefully. Talking about Kapur, a media professional said, "Shahid is in that unique position where he has a boyish face and yet can carry off a film as the solo male lead. This dual attraction is now giving him an edge over other actors."

However Prahlad Kakkar, the man who shot with Kapur for the Pepsi commercial, which had featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji declared, "This young boy managed to hold his own amongst such big names. He has a star quality in him, which will take him places."

Kapur is still basking in the glory of his double roles in Kaminey. But now the actor who had a super busy year shooting for his films, will take it easy and prepare for his solo film of the year with dad, Pankaj Kapur.
