MUMBAI: After the release of Shootout at Lokhandwala, White Feather Films’ Sanjay Gupta has embarked on his next venture.
Gupta’s directorial venture Alibaug commenced on 2 July at Shiros in Mumbai.
The film stars Sanjay Dutt (special appearance), Dia Mirza, Sanjay Suri, Praveen Dabbas, Rohit Roy, Mansi Joshi Roy, Sameer Soni, Sudhanshu Pandey, Masumi Makhija and Sophie Choudhry.
On the eve of the shooting the entire cast along with director Gupta gathered at a kick off party.
Alibaug is a semi-autographical based on a critical incident that took place in Gupta’s life while he was in Alibaug. Unlike his earlier film Zinda, Alibaug will be a much lighter film aimed at making audiences smile.
