Shooting resumes for Mangat’s Sunday

MUMBAI: The final shooting schedule for producer Kumar Mangat’s movie Sunday has resumed after a gap of little more than a month. Backed by Eros International, the film is directed by Rohit Shetty. It stars Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Ayesha Takia, Irrfan Khan, Anjani Sukhani and Mukesh Tiwari.


Mangat informs that he the shooting for the film has resumed in Bombay and Delhi.


“Ajay Devgan is back after completing his first 20-days shooting spell for his directorial debut U, Me Aur Hum aboard the Star Libra cruise liner. They have already begun shooting for this week in various parts of Bombay and then followed by a major schedule once again in Delhi,” says a source.


The final track for the film has recently been recorded. Shibani Kashyap has sung and composed the song, which was penned by Virat Mishra. DJ Suketu is remixing the number while Kashyap will also feature in the music video, which will be shot in July.


Shetty says, “We have resumed the shooting from 22 May and by the end of June we will have wrapped up the entire shooting. In Delhi we are filming mostly at virgin locales. The remaining two songs will be later canned in Australia.”


Inderjit Chadha is the line producer while Sanjeev Joshi is the executive producer. After the end of this schedule the film will be complete with the exception of two songs that will be shot in Australia.
