MUMBAI: Star World will premiere The Brother’s Grimm on 9 March at 9 pm.
The movie stars Matt Damon, Heath Ledger, Lena Headey and Monica Bellucci.
Legendary fairytale scribes, brothers Will and Jake Grimm, travel around the Napoleonic countryside vanquishing monsters and demons in exchange for quick money. But when the French authorities figure out their scheme, the con men are forced to contend with a real magical curse when they enter an enchanted forest where young maidens keep disappearing under mysterious circumstances.
The film is directed by Terry Gilliam (Times Bandits, The Adventure of Baron Munchausen). Set in early 18th century French-occupied Germany, The Brother’s Grimm stars Matt Damon as Will Grimm and Heath Ledger as Jake Grimm, siblings who travel the countryside as snake-oil salesmen, convincing unsuspecting towns that they are haunted and agreeing to get rid of the demons–for a price.
