Mumbai: UTV Motion Pictures’ home productions have swept 37 nominations in Apsara – Film and Television Guild awards this year. Moreover, adding the nominations that UTV Motion Pictures has distributed, the total comes to 67 nominations.

It reposes our belief in the relentless focus we have maintained on telling great stories and developing great scripts, and we look forward to 2009 where again we have a very strong slate of productions lined up," said UTV Motion Pictures CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur.
The nominations are in the following categories: Best Choreographer, Best Lyrics, Best Male Singer, Best Music, Best Screenplay, Best Dialogue, Best Story, Best Performance in a comic role, Best performance in the negative role, Best Actress in supporting role, Best Actor in a supporting role, Best Actress in a leading role, Best Actor in a leading role, Best Director, Best Film, Best Editing, Best Sound recording, Best Re-recording, Best Cinematography, Best Art director and Best Costume design.
