MUMBAI: VIP Films’ Bharat Shah and Vinay Choksey have acquired the Bombay distribution rights of Adlabs and director Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Namastey London.
Both Shah and Choksey were unavailable for comment. But sources say that the duo has acquired the entire Bombay circuits rights (Gujarat, Saurashtra, Maharastra, parts of Karnataka border and Goa), except for Bombay main city and suburbs. Rajeev Malhotra will release the film in the city and suburbs on behalf of Eros, it is learnt.
Namastey London is slated for a 23 March 2007 release worldwide. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Rishi Kapoor amongst others.
