MUMBAI: Walt Disney Studios International Production (India) executive director, theatrical productions and acquisitions Swati Shetty has put in her papers at the company.
According to information available with Businessofcinema.com, Shetty’s last working day at Disney will be 28 February, 2011.
Shetty, who was earlier overseeing the theatrical, production and acquisition aspects of local language films for Walt Disney in India, was promoted as Walt Disney Studios International Production (India) executive director, theatrical productions and acquisitions in May last year.
Shetty’s tenure with Disney India has been for over six years in various capacities. Prior to handing the motion picture business, she was the India director of Disney-ABC International Television.
Shetty joined Disney India in 2005 from Star India and was initially responsible for ad sales of Disney channels.
