Whistling Woods International introduces courses in screenwriting

MUMBAI: Whistling Woods International (WWI), has introduced a range of courses in screenwriting, under the helm of Anjum Rajabali, whose credits include films like Drohkaal, Ghulam, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and most recently, Raajneeti.

 

The screenwriting courses include a 2-year full time course, a 1-year course for professionals, Online screenwriting courses and also a course in writing for television structured in a part-time format.

 

Rajabali believes that the courses have been designed to fulfill all the requirements of aspirants seriously interested in Screenwriting. WWI founder, chairman and filmmaker Subhash Ghai adds, “As the whole business of the entertainment industry depends substantially on the merits of  writers, then, writers should first know the technique and grammar of script seriously, by going through an institute, as is the case with architects who have to undergo professional training.”

 

The screenwriting faculty has on board a team of working professionals that includes Ashwini Malik, Pubali Chaudhuri and Ranjan Ghosh.
