#9 Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania
“Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” is a typical Hindi rom-com film; directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, the kind of movie that Simran (of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge) would have loved. The film tells a story about a feisty young girl, soon to be married to an NRI. She agrees to go through the whole business of arranged marriage on one condition, that she be provided with “Kareena Wala Designer Lehenga” for her marriage. Her search for the perfect lehenga takes her to Delhi and that’s where Humpty meets the Dulhania, and the story begins.
