Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is soon about to be 50-years-old on March 14. During the recent DVD launch of his highly acclaimed film PK, the actor joyfully stated that he feels as young as an 18 year old and believes that age is just a number. Sharing his views on different things Aamir’s words of wisdom is surely inspiring.
When asked how he feels about turning 50 and if he thinks he is at the peek of his career, the actor playfully said that he hopes he is not. The reason that he gave to explain the same is not only wise, but also shows the actors knowledge and experience. Aamir stated, “I am still just 18 years old (chuckling). And about peek, I don’t think like that. Peek also means that after you reach there you’re going down, so I hope I am not at the peak of my career.”

At the press meet of the DVD launch, a certain reporter made a remark calling Aamir a ‘social activist’. To which he responded by saying that he certainly isn’t and that he is just a creative person. “I’m a creative person. And whatever social engagement I am doing I do it as a creative person. In my opinion all the creative people may that be writers, musicians, painters make their contribution towards the society through their creativity. Through their stories, songs and characters. We hold this power that if we want, we can make a strong social fabric. So whatever I do socially I see it as a part of my work,” the 49-year-old actor stated.
Aamir Khan’s PK was the highest grossing film of all time in Bollywood’s history. The actor has set a certain standard not only for himself but also for the other actors in the industry. Aamir is currently working on his filmDangal in which he is playing the role of a wrestler father.
