This industry can be broadly divided in two categories: the actors and the heroes. There is no dearth of any of them but it is generally the hero who steal all the limelight. But when you have talent to force people to notice you nothing can stop you. Sadashiv Amrapurkar is one such actor. He has managed to make us loathe him with his vicious roles in films but people remember him more as Ajay Devgn’s troubled dad from Indra Kumar‘s Ishq.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar was hospitalised two weeks back. According to the doctors, he had complete respiratory lapse. He had developed severe lung infection. The 64-year-old actor was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (KDAH) in Mumbai. The actor has passed away today early morning.

Amrapurkar had won two Filmfare awards. In 1984, he won the award for the best supporting actor for Ardh Satya and in 1991, the best villain trophy for his portrayal of a eunuch in Sadak. The actor was last seen on the big screen in Bombay Talkies in 2012. His other works include Aankhen, Ishq, Coolie No. 1 and Gupt: The Hidden Truth.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar sir, you are one of the finest actors Bollywood had, we wish your soul rests in peace God Bless!
