MUMBAI: Bollywood actor, director, singer and writer Farhan Akhtar has a secret. The multi-talented Bollywood celebrity is a speed freak, and loves his adrenaline thrills.
The handsome star, who has essayed the role of the “Flying Sikh” Milkha Singh in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s biopic, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, looked dapper and ripped in a white tee and blue jeans, at the grand finale of Mercedes-Benz StarDrive Experience season three in Mumbai, on December 1st.
The uber fit marathon-ready star looked chic as he discussed his love for cars and all things designed for speed thrills, at the StarDrive Experience. Farhan was surrounded by mean machines, ranging from sturdy SUV’s to luxurious sedans, and was most certainly captivated by these beauties. He was joined by Debashis Mitra, Director, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India.
Farhan’s good friend, ace photographer Atul Kasbekar summed up the adrenaline rush of the event perfectly, when he tweeted, “Played ‘Goose’ to @FarOutAkhtar ‘s ‘Maverick’ as he did the 0-60 in many machines worth many crores. At the Juhu Aerodrome, Top Gun moment”.
In response to this, Farhan was his wittiest best when he reply-tweeted, “0-100 my wingman. 3.2 secs. Still have the blow dried hair to prove it.” Wow, that is called an adrenaline rush, for sure!
With so many stunning cars on display, no wonder the men couldn’t keep their eyes off the speed beasts. With all this machismo, there was no time for lovely ladies, as boys will be boys and will ogle at cars, bikes and babes, perhaps in that order!
