MUMBAI: Kunal Khemu is a happy man these days. With his performance in ‘Go Goa Gone’ having been critically acclaimed, the actor also brought in his 30th birthday and beau Soha Ali Khan threw a big bash for her actor-boyfriend.
The guest list comprised Shriya Saran, Arshad Warsi, Arpita Khan, cricketers Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Kareena Kapor who came with Saif Ali Khan, and was in the limelight for her shoddy wardrobe. Also present were Dia Mirza, Aditi Rao Hydari amongst others.
Everything seemed cool and fine at Kunal Khemu’s birthday, until a few heated words were exchanged between Arpita Khan and Lisa Bocarro, who had come with Yuvraj Singh.
The actress has made an appearance with Sohail Khan in the film ‘Fight Club’. Arpita was chatting with a friend, when her friend Mariam tapped her to say hello. Lisa, who was alongside Mariam, pointed a finger at Arpita Khan and began to hurl abuses at her and even pushed her.
Apparently, it is Lisa Bocarro who also created a rift between Yuvraj Singh and Arpita Khan. Arpita Khan fumed and retaliated and called up brother Sohail Khan, who came to her rescue.
Arpita Khan wanted to know how Lisa Bocarro was invited and demanded that Lisa been shown the door. The argument had gone out-of-control and Soha Ali Khan and Yuvraj Singh tried to make peace. But despite their hard efforts, the war of words continued. Yuvraj Singh and Lisa Bocarro finally had to leave.
“Yuvraj Singh was close to Arpita Khan’s family, but not anymore. They had a few misunderstandings last year”, a source close to Yuvraj Singh said.
Kunal Khemu’s happy birthday, surely seem to have got ugly and bad. Thanks to the catfight. It’s time to make peace.
