[tps_footer]Brett Lee is all set to start a new innings and a filmi one at that. He had earlier been seen in a small cameo in Harman Baweja’s Victory and later in Asha Bhosle’s music video. Eversince then, the Australian cricketer Brett Lee has been in news for his various initiatives for child welfare. But he will soon be seen in a full-fledged role in a Bollywood film, as announced by Australian PM Tony Abbott.
Yes you read right. Lee will be part of the cast of an Indo-Australian film Uniindian. He will be paired opposite Tannishtha Chatterjee and the film will be shot extensively in Sydney. The production will go underway in October. This will be the first film to be made from the Australia India Film Fund which was constituted to make Australian movies with Indian themes for the audience worldwide.
What do you think will be Brett Lee’s role in the film? We are guessing it will be a love story with heavy dose of cricket in it. After all, Lee has been a fabulous bowler who was a terror for the batsmen once. To see that spark back although in a film, will be interesting. What say? How about getting Australan hottie Hugh Jackman for the next film? We don’t mind at all!
