Bollywood has very often come up with the theme of patriotism in the movies. We have seen many movies based on the Indian Army. With festival of lights, Diwali just round the corner many celebrities from the B-Town including Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan gave their heartfelt messages to the soldiers ahead of the festival. The #Sandesh2Soldiers initiative was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This is a great initiative and the wishes made by the top Bollywood actors tells us that the soldiers serve at the borders even during the festivals. Akshay Kumar took to his twitter account with a heartwarming video in respect of the soldiers. He wrote, “Ur one wish can be the reason for a lot of smiles this Diwali.Send ur #Sandesh2Soldiers now via http://www.mygov.in or Narendra Modi app”. Akshay in his video says said that it is because of the soldiers that everyone is able to celebrate the festival of Diwali with the families. The actor wished the soldiers Happy Diwali on behalf of him and the entire nation. He also urged everyone to send their special message to soldiers on the festival of Diwali.

Giving the tribute to Indian Soldiers, Salman Khan took to his Facebook and had message in Hindi. He said, “देश के सेना के जवानो और नवजनो को मेरी तरफ से दीवाली की हार्दिक शुभ कामनाए और सभी को हॅपी दीवाली #Sandesh2Soldiers”.
Even Aamir Khan shared PM Modi’s video message to soldiers on his Twitter account and was all praises for the wonderful initiative taken by Narendra Modi.

Patriotism had become a debate in India when the recent ban on Pakistani artistes divided Bollywood in the favor and against of the Pakistani talents. The great initiative of #Sandesh2Soldiers is a great way of respecting the soldiers.
