MUMBAI: The sixth edition of the IPL is back with a bang! Or so it seemed, at the press conference to announce the new marketing campaign: ‘Sirf Dekhne Ka Nahi’.

Spotted at the press conference of the IPL were a few chosen Bollywood celebrities, including choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar, TV anchor Gaurav Chopra and top executives from Sony.

Farah was her usual funny, bubbly and entertaining self, as she took to the stage to speak about her association with the IPL. She even managed to do an impromptu jig on stage, with a faux whip in her hand, as she was surrounded by bandmasters (in full costume!). Clad in red and black, Farah was the centre of all attention as she did her bit to promote the 6th Season of the Indian Premier League aka IPL.

Joining Farah on stage was anchor Gaurav Chopra, who indulged her by pretending to woo her in typical Bollywood-esque style. Gaurav looked casual in a black tee, brown leather jacket and grey trousers, as he had everyone in splits.

Music director-duo Vishal Shekhar were there to provide melodic relief to the proceedings. Vishal Dadlani looked the part of a rockstar in a black graphic printed tee and jeans, while his partner Shekhar Ravjiani kept it simple in basic black. The duo rocked the stage with their performance.

The marketing campaign for IPL T20 has roped in Farah Khan to design some signature moves for the tournament. These reportedly include a little jig for a four, a six and a wicket, which will be released as part of three short films, three instruction videos and an ad-film during the build-up to IPL. The sixth edition of the super successful cricket-meets-entertainment format kicks off this year on 3 April.
