Debutants Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher starrer Mirzya opened to a low start at the box office. The film opened with around 15% occupancy in the morning shows and was expected to show some growth by evening. On the other hand, Prabhu Deva and Sonu Sood starrer ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ and MSG – The Warrior Lion Heart had a poor opening at the Box Office.
Mirzya is an adaption of a Punjabi folklore ‘Mirza-Sahiban’ and the first glimpse of the film was quite impressive enough and the masses were also looking forward to watching the film. But did it really impress the audience on the day of its release? Could Mirzya mint good numbers at the Box Office on day one?
