LOS ANGELES: Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in a film opposite her husband Saif Ali Khan when they starred together in ‘Agent Vinod’ in 2012. Now, it looks like they will get back together to ‘Happy Ending’, a movie Saif Ali Khan is producing with Dinesh Vijan’s Iluminati Films.
The film will be directed by ‘Go Goa Gone’ director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, better known as Raj & DK, who directed Saif Ali Khan in the zombie-comedy.
Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan won’t be the lead heroine in ‘Happy Ending’. That post is reserved for ‘Barfi!’ actress Ileana D’cruz.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s spokesperson said, “For her part, Kareena is going to shoot for three-days in the US. The shoot will be closely guarded as the makers do not want any pictures or information from the shoot leaking out.” For now it is known that her role in the film is a guest appearance.
The film is being shot in Los Angeles and, currently, in Michigan. So far 60 days of shooting has been wrapped up, although more shooting will follow later in LA.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been seen in movies like ‘Agent Vinod’, ‘Kurbaan’ and ‘Tashan’ over the past few years.
