Bollywood director Nikhil Advani has geared up with the release of his two much talked film ‘Hero’ and ‘Katti Batti’. But moreover anything its cherry on the cake for the director as Salman Khan is promoting Hero starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. On the other hand Aamir Khan is promoting ‘Katti Batti’ starring Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut.
While the director has geared up with the releases of the film, little did we know that Salman Khan and Aamir Khan sat on the same table for the editing of ‘Hero’ and ‘Katti Batti’ respectively.
In an interview, Nikhil Advani said, “Both Salman and Aamir sat on the edit table for ‘Hero’ and ‘Katti Batti’, respectively. Both say the same things – to present things in a clear way in the film. This is what I learnt from them.”
“When I am taking help of Salman and Aamir for a film, it doesn’t mean that I am demeaning myself as a director. They give me a feel that it is a collaborative effort. Rishi Kapoor and Raj Kapoor used to show their films to watchman so who am I? I have learnt all these things from them,” he added.
He also shared his thoughts on Shah Rukh Khan and his wonderful acting. Nikhil said, “I think the greatest strength that Shah Rukh has an actor is when he approaches a scene he knows he is going to be fantastic, but he tries how to make everybody else fantastic. He is very selfless as an actor. They (Khans) choose their directors, directors don’t choose them.”
Talking about the films, Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan have geared up with the promotions of Katti Batti. The film is all set to release on September 18, 2015.
Before ‘Katti Batti’, the film Hero will mark the debut of Sooraj and Athiya in the film industry; the movie is co-produced by Salman Khan along with Subhash Ghai. Directed by Nikhil Advani ‘Hero’ will hit the screens on September 11, 2015.
