National award winning producer-actor Neetu N Chandra was in USA for Korean Ambassador’s Korus Taekwondo Championship!
Neetu Chandra who is the only Bollywood actress to boast of 4 Dan black belts in Taekwondo and even represented India in the 1997 World Taekwondo Championships in HongKong, had another proud moment in Washington DC.
The actress and martial arts expert travelled to Washington ,where she was invited as chief guest at the Korus Taekwondo Championship 2016.
Neetu performed a 20 minute demonstration alongside international black belters, prior to the tournament , which was aired live prime time on international television.
Says a source, “Neetu has been practicing the art form for several hours a day and looks forward to her showcasing in Washingston DC. She is overwhelmed by the invite from the Korean Ambassador as their chief guests are experts who have excelled in
the martial art and set exemplary examples to the field.She will perform a few moves prior to the actual competition and will also supervise it as chief guest, which is a huge honor.”
