Speculations were rife with the fact that Ankita has bagged the role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Padmavati’. The much in news film apparently stars actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal.
After all the rumors finally the conclusion is that Ankita Lokhande has not been signed for SLB’s ‘Padmavati’. The spokesperson from the team of the film confessed that the Pavitra Rishta actress is not a part of the film. Well, this purely means that Lokhande is not going to be seen on the silver screen as of now.

Above all, there is no confirmation on the star cast of ‘Padmavati’ too. No official announcement is yet made for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s presence in the film. The film is speculated to be a historic love story. Ranveer is rumored to have given a nod to the project and also Vicky Kaushal. Deepika has yet not confirmed the same.
‘Padmavati’ will tell the tale of ruler Alauddin Khilji who loses his heart to Rani Padmavati.
