MUMBAI: Remember that old song, ‘Murder on the dance floor’, from way back in the 1980’s? That’s exactly what we felt like singing at the ‘Murder 3’ press con, for it was ‘Murder’ all the way at this Bollywood event.

The third franchise in the extremely successful ‘Murder’ series of films, ‘Murder 3’ is directed by debutant director Vishesh Bhatt and is produced by his uncle Mahesh Bhatt. This time around, as we had reported, the ‘Murder’ sequel doesn’t star its brand ambassador Emraan Hashmi, but the filmmakers have roped in Randeep Hooda instead.

This time around, the glamour quotient will be provided by actresses Aditi Rao Hydari (who’s as yet a virgin to racy, thriller films such as this) and Pakistani actress Sara Loren (formerly known as Mona Lizza!)

The press con was a sombre, staid affair with the ‘Murder 3’ trio getting together to talk all things murder and more. Sara preened in an electric blue number, which was skin fitted no less, while Aditi kept it casual in cream coloured shirt and blue jeans. The leading man, Randeep chose a simple grey tee and jeans, and was seeing adopting the traditional casanova pose (standing between the two ladies, we mean!)

Something went wrong with Sara’s outfit, for she chose to change into a white number halfway through the press conference. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt was also present at the press con, and added his two cents to the topic and the general discussion about the film. ‘Murder 3’ releases in February 2013, and it remains to be seen if this installment will be as successful as the previous two parts.
