Rajinikanth’s Kabali Or Irrfan Khan’s Madaari: Who Is Leading The Box Office Battle On Tuesday?

Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ has gained humungous numbers since its release. However, the film has not shown much business in its Hindi market. Rajini’s never ending fan following proved beneficial for its collections in the South, but the Hindi speaking metropolitan cities were average in the earnings.

Irrfan Khan’s thought provoking film ‘Madaari’ has been loved by the critics. The movie is applauded for its performance and plot. ‘Madaari’ is based on the working of the system and its citizens. The film is not a mass entertainer and hence is witnessing limited crowds at the screens.

The Hindi version of ‘Kabali’ has seen a 15% fall in its collections on Tuesday. The Hindi version is also not looking very fruitful in the coming week. The five days collection of ‘Kabali’ in the Hindi markets is Rs.3.50 crore net approx. on Friday, Rs.4.50 crore net approx. on Saturday, Rs.5.25 crore net approx. on Sunday, Rs.2.25 crore net approx. on Monday and Rs.1.85 crore net approx. on Tuesday. The Hindi collection for ‘Kabali’ comes to Rs.17.35 crore net approx.

The Irrfan Khan starrer film also had a low Tuesday. The serious film because of its genre is not generating much collection. The movie might take a halt with 15 crore mark in the first week. The day wise collection of ‘Madaari’ is Rs.1.75 crore net approx. on Friday, Rs.2.75 crore net approx. on Saturday, Rs.3.50 crore net approx. on Sunday, Rs.1.25 crore net approx. on Monday and Rs.1.10 crore net approx. on Tuesday.

‘Madaari’ in total has earned Rs. 10.35 crore net approx. ‘Madaari’ has extremely low collections in South because of Rajini starrer. The movie has seen a considerable collection in Delhi/UP and East Punjab.[/tps_footer]
