Ranbir Kapoor Says He Is Not Chasing Films To Make Money

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos is making headlines due to its delay in the completion of the film. Directed by Anurag Basu, Ranbir Kapoor has teamed up once again after highly praised for their last film Barfi!
Ranbir Kapoor who failed with his last film Bombay Velvet is all set with a new start for his next film Jagga Jasoos with beau Katrina Kaif. With two films in his kitty Jagga Jasoos and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the actor in a recent interview cleared about his much delayed film Jagga Jasoos who is making news since its inception.

In an interview with a leading daily, Ranbir Kapoor cleared all the waves regarding the shooting and the problems with the making of the film. The actor disclosed the reasons saying that there is lot of work left on Jagga Jasoos as the film is too tough to make which is based on musical genre which is also a detective film. The film is facing lots of differences.

The actor further said that he has no idea on the completion of film as Anurag Basu is a mad man, he doesn’t work with a script as the whole story, stage, setting are him only. He is fascinating entity to work with, he says.

On giving his take for turning producer for Jagga Jasoos, the actor said practically he is not producing the film as nowadays actors have started asking for a percentage from their films and so he has a 50% stake as a producer fee. He added saying that he would produce film in 50-50 partnership, its just matter of fact that as an actor he should be having that much incentive.

Ranbir Kapoor who has been criticized for his last film Bombay Velvet thinks that his career is a new start now. Despite of one bad film, the actor is till motivated and is moving ahead and is hoping for big hits with the two upcoming films.

Talking on the matter of money, the actor said that he is not chasing films to make money, he is feeling lucky to be producer of Jagga Jasoos as he felt he has a good tuning with Anurag Basu, but basically it’s Anurag Basu who runs the production.

Well, taking about the film, directed by Anurag Basu, the film is going to be based on musical with more than 20 songs and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of detective. The film tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father. The beautiful couple Ranbir and Katrina will be seen in funky and unique look.
