Rishi Kapoor insults media at his father Raj Kapoor’s 93rd birth anniversary?
Bollywood veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has often hit headlines, courtesy his short-tempered nature. While the veteran actor has irked many with his anger, this time again he has managed to do something very shocking. According to reports, Rishi Kapoor insulted Delhi journalists who were there to cover the book launch of his late father, the legendary Raj Kapoor.
News agency IANS reports that Rishi Kapoor ran into three journalists. As he was stepping out of the washroom, he asked them, “aap log kaun hain” who were heading to enter. When the journalists presented their credentials, the actor walked off, reportedly muttering “muft ki daru.”
The report further suggests that Rishi Kapoor’s personal security person arrived and reportedly said the journalists, “Mr Kapoor doesn’t want you guys here, please leave.”
A representative of the publisher, who had arrived at the spot asked the hotel security in-charge to intervene. The hotel security personnel said, “You know how Rishi Kapoor is. He has created a scene at our hotel twice in the past.”
The publisher who invited them to the event apologized the journalists and asked them to return to the venue. However, they chose to leave.
Well, now Rishi Kapoor’s reaction is awaited on this matter.
Raj Kapoor’s five children – sons Rishi, Randhir, Rajiv Kapoor and daughters Ritu Nanda (also the author) and Rima Jain were present at the book launch. Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni was also present.
