MUMBAI: Not only is Malaika Arora Khan a certified yummy-mummy, but she’s also trying her hand at being a yummy-chef. We caught up with the sexy actress, dancer, producer, wife and mother at the newly launched Palate Culinary Studio at Santacruz in Mumbai. This lady certainly knows how to juggle her many hats!
At Palate Culinary Studio, a state-of-the-art International styled cooking studio, Malaika was seen mingling with culinary expert Rakhee Vaswani. Looking ravishing in a sunshine-yellow Diane Von Furstenburg sundress, an equally stylish teal blue-green belt with a thin golden bow clasp, orange nail paint and light brown Fendi heels, Malaika looked ready to roll up her sleeves and roll out some fabulous food. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the stunning Bollywood beauty even tried her hand at some culinary wizardry in the kitchen, donning a chef’s hat et al.
Malaika managed to share a few kitchen secrets with us, before she was whisked off to the chef’s station, where she made quite a few sushi rolls and even checked out the calorie-centric dessert counter. Calorie counting is not for her, it seems! The lovely lady corroborated our very same suspicions, when she said in gay abandon: “Let go and enjoy yourself!”
Also present at the launch was Maria Goretti (usually so well-dressed, but slightly dowdy at this event in a blue checked shirt and jeans, with an over-sized, mismatched purple hobo bag), singers Shaan and Radhika Mukherjee and a few others.
