[imagebrowser id=254] MUMBAI: Bollywood’s legendary screen diva and comeback queen, Sridevi, has landed plumly on the December issue cover page of ‘People’ magazine. And she is accompanied on the cover by her two lovely daughters.
Yes folks, seems like mummy dearest is grooming her two beautiful teenaged daughters for celluloid, and the first step in their journey is a photo spread for the popular celebrity gossip magazine.
The cover sees Sridevi strike a pose, in the company of her teenaged daughters Khushi and Jhanvi Kapoor. The trio looks stunning in fancy designer wear, and the tagline reads ‘Me and My Girls’.
We spotted the Kapoor family at the launch of People’s December issue; proud daddy Boney Kapoor leading his gang of girls, and Sridevi with Jhanvi and Khushi in tow.
Sridevi looked stunning in a short red number, belted at the waist, and her daughters followed suit in similar high-street fashionable dresses. Jhanvi, the older one, wore a white blouse with a high-waisted black skirt, and an adorable silver sling bag and stunning peach pumps. Khushi played it safe and age-appropriate in a red polka-dotted dress.
We’ve been hearing rumours for some time now, that Boney Kapoor and Sridevi are keen to launch their elder daughter Jhanvi in a film. Though the young girl is barely a teen, the mantra in the Kapoor household seems to be: train ‘em young! After all, Sridevi herself began her acting career as a child artiste.
Whatever seems to be the case, we are eagerly awaiting Jhanvi’s film debut, to see if she has her mother’s fabulous acting genes. Perhaps we’ll someday see a film produced by Boney Kapoor, which will star his wife Sridevi and daughter Jhanvi. Never say never!
