MUMBAI: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan aka SRK was one of the three megaliths of Indian cinema, who launched the special edition of the April issue of Filmfare magazine, to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema.

Along with stalwarts like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan, the handsome young superstar was all smiles as he unveiled the special edition of the film magazine. Looking positively dapper in a stylish black suit and tie, SRK was formally attired as he did his duty.

On the cover, SRK features with Hindi cinema’s living legends: Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar, who are both seated while he stands tall between them. The shoot reportedly took place at the latter, Dilip Kumar’s residence.

Shah Rukh Khan said at the event to launch the issue, that he was “blessed to be able to breathe the same air, as the actors whose films he would watch as a kid in Delhi.”

SRK added that whereas Dilip Kumar was extremely selfless and generous as ever, he was blown away by Shehenshah Amitabh Bachchan’s general knowledge and ideas and opinions about the world.

Also seen at the starry event was Filmfare editor in chief Jitesh Pillai.
