Well, apparently, this actor was working in his own film on the story of infamous K M Nanavati case. But, Akshay already did the film Rustom which is running successfully at the box office now. According to sources, this actor even got Sylvia, Nanavati’s widow on board.

Can you guess who this actor is? It’s none other than Aamir Khan. Aamir, dropped the project when two films based on the same topic were announced. Reportedly, the Dangal actor was eager to a film on this case. Director Ram Madhvani was working on this film. Aamir thought of collaborating with Ram when his film Neerja became a hit considering that he would be the best choice to do a film based on a real incident.

Reportedly, the actor and the director even met Sylvia in London. According to sources, Mrs. Nanavati was enthusiastic about the project as superstar Aamir was a part of it. But, it didn’t happen as Neeraj Pandey announced the film Rustom with Akshay Kumar in the same case. Later, Pooja Bhatt and Soni Razdan also announced the film Love Affair dealing with the same topic.

As per some insiders, people who were researching on the project are unhappy with Rustom. Apparently, they are of the thought that Rustom has very little to do with the actual case. The tone of their film was going to be completely different. It says that it is one of the important cases of their times and it deserves to be brought out into celluloid with some responsibility.

Well, the project is now stopped. Sadly, people won’t get to see how Aamir would have been in this film dealing with crime and infidelity.
