2. Nowadays lip-locks in the movies are very common but at one point of time lovemaking scenes were either banned or deleted from the films in order to get a certificate from Censor Board but at that point of time, Rekha didn’t shy away from kissing her co-star Biswajit in the movie Anjaana Safar.
Later, she did a movie Utsav opposite Shekhar Suman which was full of intimate scenes and she faced a lot of criticism for her bold choices from Censor, media, colleagues and people too. In fact, her kissing scene with Biswajit was deleted to calm down the negative response and publicity the movie Anjaana Safar was gaining.
