This week, an anonymous user by the name of Indian Fowler published a post on a site called Medium alleging that she was se*ually harassed by The Viral Fever (TVF) founder and CEO Arunabh Kumar. Later, not one but 50 women came out to share their same horrifying experience. While so many ex-employees have come out with allegations against Arunabh, the CEO has rubbished and denied the allegations put on him of molesting and harassing women at his office.
Finally, someone has taken a step ahead to file a complaint against Arunabh. Reportedly, Mumbai Police had decided not to register a complaint until any of the women came forward to register FIR against the TVF founder.
However, now advocate Rizwan Siddiqui has decided to register a complaint with the police as well as with the Maharashtra Commission for Women to investigate the case. As per media reports, he has already sent out complaint letters to the Mumbai police and is waiting for the investigation to start.
The advocate has registered the complaint on his own as a third party to set legal actions moving against any accused. Rizwan in his statement said that Rizwan he is inclined to make police investigate all cases where women do not come to the forefront to register cases against culprits.
