Director Nishikant Kamat’s Drishyam saw a little drop on its second Friday at the Box Office as the film only managed to pull in Rs. 2.30 crore net (23 million) approx. With this, Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer action thriller drama stands of Rs. 39 crore net (390 million) approx. at the Box Office after its day eight run.
Even though Drishyam opened to a poor start on Friday and only managed to collect Rs. 5.25 crore net (52.5 million) approx, the film saw a good jump on Saturday and collected Rs. 7.25 crore net (72.5 million) approx. at the Box Office. On Sunday, Ajay Devgn’s thriller suspense drama had a superb run at the Box Office and managed to collect Rs. 9.35 crore net (93.5 million) approx. On its first weekend itself, the film collected Rs. 21.85 crore net (218.5 million) approx. at the Box Office.
Soon enough, the film started to witness a fall at the Box Office. Ajay Devgn’s thriller suspense drama is released in over 2200 screens, yet the film only managed to do a decent business at the Box Office on its first week by earning Rs. 36.70 crore net (367 million) approx. Drishyam is expected to cross 45 crore mark by the end of its second weekend run at the Box Office. The film is doing a good business in places like Mumbai, Pune and Delhi, and also managed to have a decent run in UP and Rajasthan circuits.
