[tps_footer]Bollywood’s latest releases ‘Hate Story 3′ and ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ have a huge gap between their first day occupancy rates. Where ‘Hate Story 3′ is leading by a huge margin and ‘Angry Indian Goddesses‘ is struggling to cope up. Although the comparisons won’t totally be fair as HS3 enjoys more number of screens and a wider range of audience than AIG. ‘Hate Story 3′ is enjoying the legacy of its previous two films and thus had an awareness among the audience who knew what the film will be offering. ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ on the other hand is a new upbeat film which mostly caters to female audience comparatively.

The three films that released today were ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’, ‘Hate Story 3‘ and ‘Kajarya‘. Out of the three films that released today, ‘Hate Story 3’ has easily managed to become the strongest opener with an occupancy rate of 30-35% approximately in its opening shows. ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ is far behind at only 5% occupancy rate but is still better than ‘Kajarya’ that has almost no audience. ‘Hate Story 3’ has around 2500 screens which is much higher than the screens that ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ and ‘Kajarya’ together have.
Due to the earlier film series and the fame gained by it, ‘Hate Story 3’ will easily surpass the opening day record of ‘Hate Story 2’. ‘Hate Story 2’ starring Surveen Chawla and Sunny Leone was a big hit among the masses and managed to collect Rs. 4.50 crores net approx on its opening day at the box office. With bigger budget, better cast and music that has spread like wildfire, ‘Hate Story 3’ is expected to collect much more than that on its opening day.
