2005: Akshay Kumar once again collided with a mighty Khan, this time with Salman Khan. Akshay’s ‘Garam Masala’ emerged the clear winner over Salman’s ‘Kyon Ki’- Lifetime earnings  of Garam Masala were Rs 270 million( Rs 27 crore) net against Kyon Ki’s Rs 137.5 million (Rs 13.75 crore) net.
