MUMBAI: Raajneeti’s fifth day box office collections in India were as steady as they could be.
The movie, which did a net business of Rs 402.50 million (Rs 40.25 crore) till from Friday – Monday, has collected a cool Rs 58.50 million (Rs 5.85 crore) on Tuesday. Raajneeti’s five days net total in India is now Rs 461 million (Rs 46.1 crore).
As was reported by Businessofcinema.com earlier, in its opening weekend, Raajneeti net collections stood at Rs 340 million (Rs 34 crore), which is the second highest after 3 Idiots.
Raajneeti’s run at the box office is uninterrupted this week as the next big release – Raavan – is slated to release only next weekend on 18 June. This week, a small budget movie titled Ek Second… Jo Zindagi Badal De? will hit screens. Till then it seems like Raajneeti will wield the power.
