MUMBAI: Mukesh Bhatt’s threequel – Raaz 3, directed by Vikram Bhatt starring Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu, has taken an excellent opening at the box office in its first weekend.
As reported by businessofcinema.com, on Friday – the film’s first day, Raaz 3 collected approximately Rs 110 million (Rs 11 crore) net, making the film part of the cream club as one of the biggest starters of 2012.
Seeing an equally strong Saturday, and a terrific pick up on Sunday, the three day total of Raaz 3 is in the range of Rs 361 milion (Rs 36.10 crore) net.
In spite of mixed reviews, the roaring start indicates that cine-goers have a positive outlook, Week one is likely to be steady.
