MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s latest release Ready has done net collections of approximately Rs 130 million (Rs 13 crore) at the box office on its opening day across India.
However the movie has failed to pip the opening day collections of Khan’s last superhit film Dabangg, which did a net of Rs 145 million (Rs 14.5 crore) on Friday. Dabangg’s opening weekend net collections have been the highest so far amongst Hindi films.
As was reported by Businessofcinema.com earlier, Ready opened to full houses across multiplexes and single screens across India on Friday.
It now remains to be seen how the movie fares over the weekend.
