Salman Khan’s recently released family drama film is not only doing a fabulous business in India but is also running superbly overseas! Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has successfully earned Rs. 109 crore (1090 million) approx. in its 10 day run overseas.
Now these are some fantastic numbers as earning 100 crore plus amount in just 10 days, that too overseas is a big thing. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan in India itself has collected Rs. 236 crore net (2360 million) approximately at the Box Office. Now if we add up the overseas amount of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan with its Indian collection, the film has successfully collected overall Rs. 345 crore (3450 million) approximately so far.
On its second weekend run in India itself Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan crossed the 200 crore mark, that too with an ease. Now the film is slowly and steadily inching towards 300 crore mark in India, whereas in its second week run, Bajrangi Bhaijaan will most likely cross 150 crore mark overseas. The film earned amazing numbers on its first week and then second weekend at the Box Office. Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra, has received fabulous reaction from the audiences all over the world. The film is doing a good business in countries like India, Pakistan, UK and Canada.
Director Kabir Khan’s, Bajrangi Bhaijaan tells a story about a soft-hearted innocent man named Pavan, played by Salman Khan, who happens to be a devotee of lord Bajrangi, sets out on a journey to help a little mute Pakistani girl reach safely back to her homeland. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of Rashika and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays the role of a Pakistani journalist. The film was released in theatres this year on EID, on July 17 after a very long wait.
