Box Office: Singham Returns To Beat Salman Khan’s Kick?

Singham-Game-05Reliance Updated : Entertainment Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Returns has seen a flying start on Friday , being an independence day holiday,  the collections have exceeded all expectations at the indian box office. The film is likely to cross the Rs 300 million mark ( Rs 30 crores ) net at the indian box office.the film has managed to collect Rs 320 milion (Rs 32 crores) on Friday.

The film has opened extremely collections at the box office were good and will beat Salman Khan’s Kick opening day box office collections in India. Considering the pre Eid opening of Kick and a holiday opening for Singham Returns this was expected.

Singham Returns which released in about 3000 screens in India opened with an average of sixty percent occupancies.

Maharashtra circuit saw maximum collections for the film, while collections in Mumbai stand to make records for the movie. North was good while south saw low collections due to the regional language releases.

The single screens saw strong collections while multiplexes also showed strength in some places by opening to hundred percent occupancy.

Singham Returns should be one of the highest opening of all time and should easily beat Salman Khan’s Kick for the highest opening day collections of 2014.

Singham Returns which released on the Independence Day Weekend which is a long one. Starting from Friday, it is a four day weekend, which means a lot of footfalls.

Given the strong fan following of Singham, Singham Returns will get a lot of initial crowd at the theatres.

Singham Returns is a Rohit Shetty film who strangely has his own fan following like Rajkumar Hirani. People are assured of lots of entertainment when they decide to watch a Shetty movie.
