Box Office: Youngistaan, O Teri And Dishkiyaaoon Spell Disaster

Box Office Cover PicMarch 28, 2014 saw the release of three films; Youngistaan, O Teri And Dishkiyaaoon and going by the initial response of the critics and the audiences it looks like all three would fall flat at the Box Office.

Shilpa Shetty‘s Dishkiyaaoon, Atul Agnihotri’s O Teri and Vashu Bhagnani‘s Youngistaan, all failed to open to a good response, with collections in the range of about fifteen to twenty percent. The new releases Dishkiyaaon, O Teri and Yougistaan all opened to a very dull response all over and did not show much of an upturn in the evening.

Dishkiyaaon, which had the best morning collections probably as it was an action film, actually had fewer collections at some single screens later. The collections at multiplexes were a total washout.

O Teri managed to pick up slightly at some multiplexes of North India but it makes little difference as the starting point was so low and the pick up had to be huge.

Youngistaan showed a little growth in Gujarat and Central India but the once again the collections were very low.

Now the only two films that are standing rock solid at the Box Office are Sunny Leone starrer Ragini MMS 2 and Queen.

Meanwhile, Sunny Leone starrer horror thriller Ragini MMS 2 is going strong at the Box Office. Despite facing criticism from Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS), the film fetch in good amount at the Box Office.

Ragini MMS 2 has managed to collect around Rs 387.9 million (38.79 crore) nett till date and is still going strong.
But the film that is ruling the Box Office is non other than Queen as it The continues to conquer more and more at the Box Office.

Queen has managed to collect about Rs 492.7 million (49.27 crore) nett till date. Queen has been declared a super hit at the Box Office.

Next week, April 04, 2014, will see a release of Main Tera Hero. Lots of hopes are not pinned on this Varun Dhawan starrer.

We shall keep you posted as always.
