MUMBAI: Looks like director Vikramaditya Motwane has hit it out of the ball park again. After his first film ‘Udaan’ gathered critical acclaim, the producers of his sophomore effort ‘Lootera’ are happy with the final cut of the film.
The 2 hours 15 minutes final cut of the film has impressed the producers – Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures – and they have decided to have multiple screenings of the film from this weekend itself – a good 10 days before the actual release.
Usually, it is a norm for the film to be showcased to industry and non-industry friends a couple of days prior to the film’s release, but this time the makers have decided to have at least 10-15 different shows a week before the release. This can only be a good sign about the quality of the film.
‘Lootera’ stars Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha and Adil Hussain in key roles and releases on 5 July, 2013.
