Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise seems to be having a tough time dealing with accidents nowadays, as a fire broke on the sets of his film. The actor is apparently unharmed but the fire was quite destructive, blazing the entire trailer kept on the sets of his film ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’. Tom Cruise who was taking a break from the shoot was apparently just a small distance away from where the trailer caught fire. The incident happened at the film’s set in Louisiana, burning the entire wardrobe trailer to ashes.
Soon after the incident, firefighters were called who brought the situation under control by putting the fire out. Luckily no injuries have been reported yet, assuming that the fire was not fatal to anyone. Tom Cruise who is considered to be Hollywood’s top action film hero has been having a hard time dealing with accidents. Not long ago, another heart breaking incident occurred where one of the pilots featuring in Tom’s upcoming movie died in a plane crash.
The unfortunate incident took place in Medellin, Colombia on Friday leaving the pilot and an accomplice dead on the spot. The deceased pilot had been identified as a renown American film pilot Alan David Purwin and the passenger was Carlos Berl who was a Colombian. According to the reports, the cause of the crash was bad weather and uncontrolled turbulence after the take off. Tom Cruise starrer ‘Mena‘ is an action thriller film based on the life of Barry Seal – a former TWA pilot who became a drug smuggler working for Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.
‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ on the other hand is the sequel to original movie released in 2012. The film stars Cobie Smulders, Danika Yarosh, Aldis Hodge among others. Directed by Edward Zwick, the film is based on the novel written by Lee Child. We hope Tom Cruise doesn’t take these consecutive accidents too hard on himself!
