For more than a decade the world has known and cherished Hugh Jackman as the ultimate Wolverine and now the actor has dropped a subtle hint pointing at his retirement from the role of the superhero. Jackman posted a picture on his official Instagram account breaking the sad news.
Hugh Jackman is as cool off screen as he is on screen. The actor broke the news of his retirement from the role of Wolverine in a witty manner by posting a photo solely of his knuckles with the Wolverine blades intact. The photo was captioned, “WOLVERINE …ONE LAST TIME. HJ” And just like that, millions of hearts shattered around the globe!
Hugh Jackman had been dropping hints for quite some time now by talking about exploring roles of different palate. Although there are still rumours that he will be appearing in X Men: Apocalypse set to release next year. James Mangold has slated another sequel of The Wolverine 3.
Hugh Jackman was recently seen in Chappie starring Dev Patel and will next be seen in his upcoming film Pan set to release this July.
