Special Screening Of LION Held In India For The Australian Cricket Team

Produced by a global collaborative team of Australian, UK and American producers, LION is currently in contention for Oscars, results of which will be announced this weekend. In the meanwhile, the film opened up a few weeks back in Australia and has already paved its way into the Top 10 Films of all time at the box office. Directed by Garth Davis, the film LION stars Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman and Sunny Pawar in pivotal roles and has been shoot extensively in India, Melbourne and Tasmania. The film is set to release this Friday in India and a few days ahead of its release a screening was held for Australian cricket team in India who are currently here to play a Test match which is underway in Pune.
