Hollywood movie ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ has been creating a buzz since its inception, and now Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o‘s role has been disclosed. In ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, Lupita Nyong’o will be playing the role of alien pirate queen, Maz Kanata, which will be shown completely with the help of CGI. The actress herself then stated how excited she was to shoot with CGI as it was an exciting opportunity. J.J. Abrams revealed that he had some specific ideas about how she would work and what she would do. He had a pitch about these goggles that she wore, as her eyes are an important aspect of her character.

Maz Kanata is an important part of the Star Wars universe and will be brought to life in the 7th installment of the film franchise, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. Her history is that she was a pirate for a long time and has lived over a thousand years. Maz had this watering hole for about a century, and it’s like another bar that you’d find in a corner of the ‘Star Wars’ universe says director Abrams.
