Britain’s Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle’s wedding date has been announced!

Britain’s Prince Harry and his American actress fiancé Meghan Markle‘s love story is no less than a fairytale. The couple met through a blind date set up by their common friends. Post that Prince Harry and Meghan soon struck fancy and jetted off to Africa where their love bloomed! After much speculation, the couple announced their engagement last month.

While it’s a royal engagement, the proposal was very casual. Soon-to-be-Princess Meghan in an interview post their engagement said, ”It was just an amazing surprise. It was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee,”

To her statement, Prince Harry replied, ”She didn’t even let me finish. She said ‘Can I say yes, can I say yes?’ then there were hugs and I had the ring on my finger.”

”I was like ‘Can I give you the ring?’ It was a really nice moment. Just the two of us.”

”And I think I managed to catch you by surprise as well,” Prince Harry added while looking at his fiancé and holding her hand.

Talking about her future plans, Meghan confirmed that she is leaving acting behind but sees it as a new chapter of her life.

Ever since the official announcement of their engagement, millions around the world have been waiting for the Royal Wedding!

Yesterday Kensington Palace released an official statement through this very adorable picture on Instagram. The statement/caption reads, ”His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will marry on 19th May 2018. Today’s announcement follows earlier confirmation of the month of the wedding and its location at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.”

A May Royal Wedding it is!

Reportedly, the Royal Family will be paying for the wedding, including the service, music, flower arrangements and the reception.

Earlier, Kensington Palace confirmed that the couple will be spending Christmas together at Sandringham with The Queen, Elizabeth The Second. It has also been confirmed that Meghan Markle will be baptized into the Church Of England before her nuptials with Prince Harry.
