Shocking! Gwyneth Paltrow’s New York Store Robbed

The actress has yet not made any personal comments but according to reports items worth more than $173,000 (more than Rs. 1 crore approx) have been stolen by the thieves. The incident took place over the weekend at Manhattan’s Columbus Circle in New York.

The shop named Goop was opened by the actress temporarily in Manhattan and she had only recently blogged about the inside details of the shop. Seems like the thieves picked up the info from there and got attracted to all the luxurious branded items. According to sources the staff and all the customers were unharmed during the robbery and the store is back to functioning with safety measures and precautions being taken.

The incident apparently took place on Saturday afternoon while the store was pretty crowded due to the rush hour. As soon as the robbery took place the NY police department were contacted for help and they responded quickly taking the situation under control. No further details about the possible suspects have been given away, although the store keepers have assured that Goop is back to running business now and only faced minimal blow as very limited number of items were stolen.

Designer clothes, accessories, beauty and home décor at highly luxurious prices not affordable unless you lead such lifestyle. The intricate details given by Gwyneth Paltrow on her blog must have attracted the robbers who carried the theft in broad daylight.
