Zoolander 2 Official Teaser: Ben Stiller Asks A Very Important Question!

After a long wait, the first teaser trailer of Zoolander 2, starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson is here and it is downright hilarious! Back in May, the leading stars of Zoolander put the rumours at rest by confirming the film’s sequel as they crashed a runway in Paris.

As the short teaser of Zoolander 2 starts, we hear a voice, which sounds very much like Stephen Hawking, taking us through the history of the universe, right from the Big Bang to the evolution of man and then we are diving inside a human brain, taking turns and exploring deeper. The brain happens to be of the Derek Zoolander, the leading star of the film. The trip to Zoolander’s brain proves that he is still as dumb-witted as he was before as his brain is occupied with words like “eugoogly” and Hair Dryer image. As the short teaser moves ahead, we see the size of Zoolander’s brain and finally his character comes into full view. Zoolander starts by asking, “If God exists, then why did he make ugly people?”

If only Zoolander’s very important question wasn’t enough, we see him struggling to understand the meaning of his own film’s title. After the word “2oolander” appears on the screen, similar to film tiles like Se7ev or 2 Fast 2 Furious, Derek Zoolander confusingly says, “Two-hundred-lander? I don’t spell my name with a two.” Then the background voice suggests a title with the touch of Roman numerals “Zoolander II”, to which the good-looking model Derek replies, “But I am not Italian.”

Well, this just proved that even after a decade, our favourite character from the film hasn’t changed a bit. Zoolander 2 is all set to hit the theatres in February, 2016. The star cast of the film includes Penelope Cruz, Owen Wilson and Justin Bieber.
