Mumbai: Kirk Olson has been promoted as senior vice president, advertiser sales and Paul Brennan as vice president, advertiser sales at Sony Pictures Television (SPT), it was announced by SPT president, advertiser sales Amy Carney.
Olson will continue to oversee the accounts, staff and daily operations of all SPT regional offices. Based in Chicago, he negotiates :10 and :30 commercial opportunities for SPT’s syndicated properties. He also works to expand advertiser sales relationships for cable networks, Tennis Channel and MOJO as well as SPT’s digital properties which include SonyBMG, The Minisode Network, and Crackle.
In his new role Brennan will manage account executives and coordinate ad sales efforts for syndication, Tennis Channel, and MOJO. Brennan began working SPT in 2005 as account executive, advertiser sales where he negotiated and sold national broadcast commercial time for SPT’s syndicated shows such as Seinfeld and Kind of Queens. Prior to joining Sony, Brennan was an account executive at Hallmark Channel.
Both Olson and Brennan report to SPT executive vice president, advertiser sales Stuart Zimmerman.
